on a hot summer day in 2009 a friend invited me to go up north and see the old Rockefeller mansion
Kykuit. we got on the MTA north to Tarrytown - home of the headless horseman. the mansion was built by John D. Rockefeller in 1913 and was home to 4 generations of Rockefeller's in it's prime. The basic tour of the grounds and home, including the art gallery in the cellar, is about 2 hours long - with a staff that is of a very high caliber you will enjoy this place from it's Tiffany stained glass entrance to it's Picasso tapestries. i hope you enjoy the photos i took below.
